Overview
One of the key features of a GPS tracking system is the ability
to place a suspect in a certain place at a certain time. Without
an intimate knowledge of the area the suspect traveled in, understanding
what is in these areas is virtually impossible.
By joining forces with one of the world’s leading suppliers
of Aerial and Satellite ortho-rectified digital imagery, Orion is
providing users the ability to import detailed imagery file onto
existing map data. Blank spots in traditional map data are now filled
in with detailed images of buildings, parks, or topographical features.
Imagery
GlobeXplorer provides imagery for most anywhere in the world. Most
major population centers have detailed street maps, while rural
areas are covered by satellite imagery. Detailed lists on image

Subscription
Orion has arranged a special agreement to provide Orion clients
with virtually unlimited high quality aerial and satellite imagery
for a low yearly cost. Use across an agency is unrestricted and
all new Orion software will support the GlobeXplorer extension.
Usage is tracked via agency specific user names and passwords.
As you reach the limit of your purchased images an email will automatically
be sent to you. No expensive overage charges or complicated usage
scenarios.
Easy to Use
Simply click and download to receive digital images on your computer.
Images may be saved and used again at no additional charge. A useful
image viewer can automatically search for previously downloaded
files and load them into the current view.
